01Who this is for

This is for women with PCOS or irregular cycles, women planning pregnancy, expecting or breastfeeding mothers, and women approaching or in menopause.

Nutrition guidance works alongside your gynaecologist or midwife and does not replace their advice.

02How we build your plan

  • Consultation. We discuss your health history, cycle, symptoms, goals, medication and daily routine.
  • Your plan. A meal plan matched to your life stage, using foods you can find and afford.
  • Follow-up. We track how you feel and adjust as your needs change.

Your plan is guided by a qualified Nutritionist and Dietitian. Read about our practice.

03Eating well at different stages

General principles, not a personal plan:

  • PCOS: steady blood sugar. Many women with PCOS manage symptoms better with regular meals, measured starch portions, plenty of vegetables and protein at each meal.
  • PCOS: movement counts. Regular physical activity supports insulin sensitivity alongside food choices.
  • Pregnancy: iron and folate. Leafy greens, beans, ndengu, eggs and lean meat help. Take supplements your clinic prescribes.
  • Breastfeeding: enough food and fluids. Your body needs extra energy and water. Eating regularly matters more than special foods.
  • Menopause: protect bones and heart. Calcium-rich foods such as milk, yoghurt and small fish like omena, plus regular activity, support bone and heart health.
  • Avoid extreme diets. Very restrictive plans can disrupt hormones and leave you short of nutrients.

This is general information, not a personal plan. What suits you depends on your health, goals and routine.

04What to expect

Changes in energy, cycle regularity, weight or symptoms take time and differ between women. We do not promise specific outcomes.

05Common questions

Can diet help with PCOS?

Eating patterns can help manage PCOS symptoms for many women, together with activity and medical care. It is not a cure.

Do I need to avoid all carbohydrates with PCOS?

No. The type and portion of carbohydrate matter more than avoiding it completely.

Can you help me prepare for pregnancy?

Yes. We look at nutrition, weight and any conditions beforehand, and work with your doctor.

Is it safe to diet while breastfeeding?

Gradual changes are generally fine, but crash diets are not. We plan around your energy and milk needs.

Where are you based and when are you open?

In person in Nairobi, Kenya. Online worldwide. Monday to Friday 8AM to 6PM, Saturday 9AM to 2PM (East Africa Time), closed on Sunday.
