01Who this is for

This is for people who deal with bloating, constipation, loose stools, acid reflux, stomach pain after meals or an irritable bowel, and want to understand which foods help.

Some digestive symptoms need medical investigation. If you have blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss, severe or persistent pain or trouble swallowing, see a doctor first.

02How we build your plan

  • Consultation. We go through your symptoms, meals, fluids, medication, stress and routine, and the patterns that seem to set things off.
  • Your plan. A step-by-step plan, which may include a short food-tracking period, to find what suits you rather than cutting out whole food groups.
  • Follow-up. We review your symptoms and reintroduce foods in a planned way so your diet stays varied.

Your plan is guided by a qualified Nutritionist and Dietitian. Read about our practice.

03Everyday habits that support digestion

General principles that help many people:

  • Build up fibre gradually. Vegetables, fruit, beans, ndengu and whole grains help, but adding a lot at once can cause gas. Increase slowly and drink enough water.
  • Drink enough fluids. Fibre without enough water can make constipation worse.
  • Eat regular, unhurried meals. Eating slowly and avoiding very large late-night meals can ease reflux and bloating.
  • Notice your triggers. Keeping a simple food and symptom diary shows patterns better than guessing. Avoid cutting out many foods without guidance.
  • Include fermented foods. Plain yoghurt, mursik and fermented porridge are traditional foods some people tolerate well.
  • Manage stress and sleep. The gut and the brain are closely linked, and stress often makes symptoms worse.

This is general information, not a personal plan. What suits you depends on your health, goals and routine.

04What to expect

Many people notice improvement within a few weeks of a planned approach, though some conditions need longer and some need medical treatment too. We do not promise a cure.

05Common questions

Which foods cause bloating?

It varies from person to person. Beans, cabbage, onions, fizzy drinks and eating too quickly are common culprits, but the right answer comes from your own pattern.

Should I cut out gluten or dairy?

Not without a reason. Cutting out whole food groups can lead to nutrient gaps. We help you test properly and safely.

Can diet help with constipation?

Often yes. Fibre, fluids, regular meals and activity are the foundations, and we tailor them to you.

Do you treat stomach ulcers or IBS?

Diagnosis and medical treatment are for your doctor. We provide nutrition support alongside that care.

Where are you based and when are you open?

In person in Nairobi, Kenya. Online worldwide. Monday to Friday 8AM to 6PM, Saturday 9AM to 2PM (East Africa Time), closed on Sunday.
